The course

Challenging but fair

The diverse 27- hole course of the Golf Club Schloss Breitenburg provides a fair test of golf for all abilities, from juniors, improvers through to scratch and plus handicap players.

Our old course let you explore the beautiful landscape of the marsh and the geest. The alleys of old trees, water hazards and the river Stör right next to the course, only separated by a dyke, make it a wonderful experience. If you play the A and B courses, you have to cross a bridge which leads you to the beautiful holes on marsh land with a magnificent view on the 500-year old castle from the 6th and 12th green. The new course  is right across the other side of the castle. Those holes provide a completely different kind of challenge and remind the golfers of a links course. The 26th hole in particular, the island green, demands all your concentration.

The 18th green sits just in front of the clubhouse terrace making it a marvellous spectator finish. Surrounded by roses, you can enjoy a fantastic range of food and drinks on the terrace of our restaurant, Sir Loui.
